In July, the EPS product department faced a high production month challenge, and the ECU sector, as the main force in production controllers, achieved a historic record with a monthly output that exceeded expectations. During the high production month, production pressures surged like a tide, with issues such as slow production rhythms and difficulties in output arising one after another. In the face of this dilemma, line leader Wei Xueming took on the responsibility directly, accurately supplementing the slow production segments, which not only accelerated the production rhythm through practical actions but also secured valuable time for equipment adjustments.

ECU Line 5 leader Zhou Qingyu also performed excellently. During the optimization work of the MR precision marking test bench on Line 5, he actively engaged, leveraging his professional skills and team collaboration spirit to contribute significantly to improving production efficiency.

Line 5 encountered challenges while producing a certain product, with each product’s complete set of experimental tests taking too long and experiencing severe bottlenecks, failing to meet production demands. Therefore, under the leadership of Yang Haichao, the deputy general manager of the product department, a rectification plan was devised: redesigning the layout of the final inspection and shell assembly positions on Line 5 to ensure that the production process is reasonable and meets production requirements. Subsequently, the rectification plan was accurately implemented, adding the necessary electrical and power supplies for new equipment around the integrated production line, changing the placement of the shell feeding rack, and ensuring effective anti-static measures.

After a series of careful adjustments, the MR precision marking test bench was successfully optimized. Each product’s cycle time was reduced by 22 seconds. Moreover, by converting the test bench into a movable platform, it met the production needs of multiple production lines. The operation can be completed by just one person, making it convenient and quick, and eliminating the need for each production line to purchase a separate precision marking test bench, effectively saving investment costs. This innovative measure not only enhanced production efficiency but also alleviated employee pressure, providing strong support for the efficient production of the column board sector.

This rectification process was not only a means to improve production efficiency but also a valuable opportunity to cultivate the work capabilities of young employees. ECU Line 4 leader Li Jiajia is a typical representative. This line mainly produces several DP-type products, and Li Jiajia significantly increased production capacity by planning the assembly of signal board components in advance, adjusting the sequence of production line equipment (comprehensive inspection/AOI/plasma cleaning), and adding transfer equipment. This achievement not only reflects Li Jiajia’s personal professional skills and innovative spirit but also highlights the significant results of talent cultivation during the rectification process within the team.
