In 2007, after graduating from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Han Bo joined Benxi Steel and dedicated himself to the field of equipment management. From the initial operation and maintenance of power supply and distribution, to the maintenance of variable frequency drive systems, and then to the operation and maintenance of motors and compressors, as well as equipment condition diagnosis and inspection business management, 18 years of grassroots experience have allowed him to accumulate extremely rich practical experience. This challenging growth journey has not only forged his solid professional capabilities but also earned him a series of honors such as Outstanding Communist Party Member of Central Enterprises, Liaoning Technical Expert, Liaoning May Day Labor Medal, Ansteel Group Labor Model, and Benxi Steel Advanced Science and Technology Worker, along with 6 patents and 8 published papers, making him an undisputed backbone and technical expert in Benxi Steel’s equipment system.

On June 1, 2022, Han Bo established a precision inspection team, marking the beginning of innovative equipment management at Benxi Steel. This team acts like the “exclusive doctors” for equipment, cleverly applying the concept of medical check-ups to equipment diagnosis, and pioneering AI intelligent diagnosis.

The precision inspection team led by Han Bo is striving towards the goal of “1 meter wide and 1000 meters deep” with a focus on specialization and innovation. Currently, the team has conducted nine types of inspection services including vibration spectrum detection, laser alignment installation, and infrared thermal imaging detection, providing strong support for basic equipment management through digital inspection methods. Their efforts have achieved significant results, successfully reducing the abnormal rate of controlled equipment by 60%, and generating over 26.7 million yuan in total economic benefits from 2022 to 2024, creating a new situation for Benxi Steel’s digital inspection reform.

Han Bo understands that the continuous development of technological innovation relies on the support and inheritance of talent. Therefore, he established the “Han Bo Model Worker Innovation Studio” to build a platform for knowledge sharing and technical inheritance. Here, he meticulously guides 11 apprentices, selflessly imparting his professional knowledge and practical experience. From 2022 to 2024, his apprentices have won the Benxi May Day Labor Medal for 2 individuals, and one has been recognized as a “Good Person of Benxi Steel”, with 2 obtaining ISO international level 2 vibration analyst qualifications. Meanwhile, the team has achieved remarkable results, receiving multiple honors such as “Benxi Steel Group Reform and Innovation Team”, “Ansteel Group Red Flag Party Member Responsibility Area”, and “China Equipment Management Association Equipment Maintenance Innovation Team”.

On the road of technological innovation, Han Bo always maintains a proactive spirit. In 2023, he actively promoted the establishment of the “Expert Workstation” at Dalian University of Technology and the “Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Joint Laboratory of Benxi Steel Plate Energy Management Center”, successfully forming a 32-member research team to conduct in-depth research and exploration in key areas such as intelligent operation and maintenance feature extraction, fault state recognition, and technology project development. The jointly developed project also won the second prize of the 2023 Benxi Steel Science and Technology Progress Award and was a top ten project (runner-up) in the Ansteel Group Youth Innovation Competition, successfully bringing cutting-edge university technology into production positions, achieving efficient collaborative innovation among enterprises, universities, and research institutes, and providing valuable experience for the intelligent development of the steel industry.
