Currently, the battle for the repair of key equipment in comprehensive workshops is in full swing! To strengthen the foundation of production and ensure efficient operation, since the campaign began on June 12, the Comprehensive Maintenance Center has responded swiftly, gathering elite forces, adhering to the philosophy of “standardization leads, striving for excellence,” and closely collaborating with the comprehensive workshop to tackle the challenges of the dust collection system and conveying equipment, injecting strong momentum into the performance enhancement of workshop equipment.
At the repair site, members of the Comprehensive Maintenance Center and technical backbones used professional diagnostic tools to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment. They identified wear and crack hazards in the dust collection system’s material storage bin. After analysis, they quickly formulated standardized repair plans and risk management strategies; the welding team strictly implemented welding process standards, completing material selection, groove treatment, and other processes to resolve the difficulties in discharging materials from the dust collection bin. For the material conveying equipment, the repair team executed lean repairs on the screw conveyor blades through measuring, cutting, welding, and polishing processes, enhancing its performance beyond initial standards. During the scraper repair, the maintenance personnel integrated standardized calibration with lean welding, using professional measuring tools to correct deformation, scientifically selecting materials, and controlling welding heat input, completing multi-dimensional inspections and reinforcements, effectively improving the impact resistance and wear resistance of the excavator bucket.
In the scorching heat, the enthusiasm for repairs is even greater. All members of the Comprehensive Maintenance Center integrate “standardization leads, striving for excellence” into every operational detail. Beneath the sweat-soaked work clothes lies their strict adherence to safety regulations and repair guidelines, and their ultimate pursuit of every weld and every calibration. This battle for equipment repair, measured by standards and sharpened by lean practices, not only enhances equipment performance but also hones a maintenance team that dares to fight tough battles and can win victories.
