The touch screen is currently the simplest and most convenient human-machine interaction method in automated production, providing the most intuitive effect display. Its rich animation effects attract many users. Today, I will introduce one of the MCGS touch screen animation effects – horizontal movement.

Horizontal movement is one of the most commonly used animation effects on touch screens. We will take the example of an object moving on a conveyor belt.

Double-click the cube to enter “Animation Configuration Property Settings”, select “Horizontal Movement” in the “Position Animation Link”, as shown in Figure 1-2.

In the “Horizontal Movement” property interface, define a data object “a” in the “Expression” field, set the “Minimum Movement Offset” to “0” and the “Maximum Movement Offset” to “200”, corresponding to the “Expression Value” divided into “0” and “100”, as shown in Figure 1-3. Click “Confirm”, and a prompt box will pop up as shown in Figure 1-4. Click “Yes”, and the “Data Object Property Settings” dialog will pop up. In the “Basic Properties” interface, select “Numeric” in the “Object Type”, and click “Confirm”, as shown in Figure 1-5.

Double-click on the blank area of the screen, and the “User Window Property Settings” will pop up. Click on “Loop Script”, change the “Loop Time” to “100”, and in the English input method, write the function shown in Figure 1-6 in the blank area, then click “Confirm”.
