In order to actively respond to and implement national development requirements, promote the development of artificial intelligence technology, ecological construction, and industrial empowerment, on March 14, 2024, Xiangteng Company, in collaboration with Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology, will hold the first “System Capability Training Course Design and Development Training Based on Xiangteng Micro HKN201 NPU,” inviting related universities and research institutes in the field of artificial intelligence in Shaanxi Province, including Northwest University, Xi’an University of Technology, and Xi’an Microelectronics Technology Research Institute, to exchange practical operations and application scenario adaptations based on Xiangteng NPU, further strengthening the cooperation between enterprises and universities in production, education, and research, expanding the artificial intelligence application ecosystem, and achieving a virtuous cycle of education, technology, and talent advancement.

The training activity is organized and implemented by the School of Computer Science at Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology. Qin Xiang, the technical leader of the NPU direction at Xiangteng Company, introduced the basic performance indicators of the company’s HKN201 NPU, compared it with major domestic neural network processors, analyzed the advantages of Xiangteng NPU in certain application fields and processing algorithms, and explained and demonstrated relevant application cases in the aviation field that the company is currently developing, exchanging the trial usage of the development board with teachers and students from Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology. Through the explanation, teachers and students from universities and research institutes gained an in-depth understanding of the algorithm adaptation, computing power, operation methods, and practical applications of the company’s NPU, and engaged in discussions with the company’s technical team based on their respective research directions and application fields to jointly study the adaptation and application prospects of Xiangteng HKN201 NPU in scientific research projects and products, with some projects reaching preliminary cooperation intentions.
