Last August, the domestic GPU manufacturer, Xiangdixian, was on the brink of collapse, but it has now finally seen a turnaround. On September 3rd, Anfu Technology disclosed on a financial platform that the new generation “Fuxi” architecture chip developed by Xiangdixian has completed tape-out verification, marking the company’s official emergence from its low point.
It is reported that this generation of GPU has the basic capability to run large AAA games such as “Black Myth: Wukong”, and is currently undergoing adaptation testing.
The new architecture adopts a 5nm process, with a single precision computing power of 160 TFLOPS, and integrates 12GB HBM2 memory, demonstrating strong performance in graphics rendering and parallel computing, sufficient to rank among the top tier of domestic GPUs.
The Fuxi architecture product has a clear positioning. The A0 version targets the high-end rendering market, filling the long-standing gap in domestic high-end GPUs; the B0 version combines GPU with NPU, targeting AIPC, with a focus on supporting edge-side AI model deployment.
It can run mainstream large models such as LLAMA, ChatGLM-6B, Stable-Diffusion, Sora, and DeepSeek R1, ensuring efficient inference on the edge side.
This not only gives it the opportunity to serve future intelligent PCs but also allows it to play a role in edge computing and AI terminal scenarios.

On the same day, another domestic GPU company, Lishuan Technology, also reported progress. Dongxin Co., Ltd. stated on an interactive platform that its invested enterprise Lishuan Technology’s self-developed 6nm GPU has been sent to customers and is continuously being optimized.
Lishuan Technology was established in 2021, focusing on independent architecture development. After four years, the 7G100 GPU successfully lit up in May this year, with test results meeting expectations.
This 6nm chip covers graphics rendering and AI acceleration needs across multiple scenarios including edge, cloud, and edge, and achieves compatibility with mainstream GPU ecosystems, with the core goal of overcoming the challenges of independent control in domestic GPU architecture.
Recently, Dongxin Co., Ltd. and several institutions jointly increased their investment in Lishuan Technology by 500 million yuan, with its shareholding ratio approaching 36%, and the capital market remains optimistic about its prospects.

In the past two years, as international giants have faced restrictions in the Chinese market, domestic GPU manufacturers have been accelerating under the push of policies and funding. Cambricon has been continuously iterating on AI computing power chips, gradually matching some of NVIDIA’s products.
Moore Threads has launched multiple generations of commercial GPUs based on its complete self-developed GPU architecture; Denglin Technology has also been continuously investing in high-performance GPUs and computing power platforms, becoming a new force worth paying attention to.
In the past, GPUs were almost entirely monopolized by NVIDIA and AMD, but now domestic manufacturers are breaking through in multiple directions including AI computing power, graphics rendering, edge-side intelligence, and ecosystem adaptation.
Although there is still a gap compared to international leading levels, domestic GPUs are beginning to genuinely possess the confidence for high-end competition.
