Research on Key Technologies for Secure Communication in Industrial IoT

The technology of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a cross-network system that integrates IoT and internet services, relying on emerging information technologies such as ubiquitous sensing, virtual reality, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and big data to achieve intelligent interaction between industrial data flows and the software and hardware of industrial equipment throughout the entire manufacturing process. The IIoT integrates perception control nodes with data sensing and state monitoring capabilities with advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, embedding itself into the entire lifecycle of industrial control and equipment manufacturing. As a product of the deep integration of IoT technology and the industrial manufacturing sector, the emergence of IIoT technology further promotes the deep integration of industrialization and informatization, providing enhancements in informatization, networking, and intelligence to traditional industrial manufacturing processes, achieving a leap from industrial “manufacturing” to industrial “intelligent manufacturing,” significantly advancing the development of smart manufacturing and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of industries. In the increasingly complex environment of IIoT, a series of security issues and threats have emerged. The phenomenon of diversified terminal structures is common in IIoT, and the information transmission methods between terminals are quite complex. The security of wireless data communication among various intelligent devices is a major challenge faced by IIoT. The ever-evolving viruses and cyber-attack methods make important or highly sensitive data generated and used by industrial equipment, as well as the information systems and upper-level applications supported by such data, potential targets for malicious attacks. The issue of insufficient data communication security has become one of the main bottlenecks restricting the development of IIoT.Li Mingshi from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has conducted a detailed analysis and elaboration on the research status and development trends of industrial IoT communication technology both domestically and internationally. Based on this, he focuses on the key technologies for secure communication in IIoT, including redundant collaborative secure communication technology, missing data prediction technology, and sensitive resource secure access control technology, aimed at the data communication transmission process of IIoT.Research on Key Technologies for Secure Communication in Industrial IoTResearch on Key Technologies for Secure Communication in Industrial IoTResearch on Key Technologies for Secure Communication in Industrial IoTResearch on Key Technologies for Secure Communication in Industrial IoTReferences:[1] Li Mingshi.
