Giesecke+Devrient presented to the audience the complete SGP.32 service capabilities compliant with GSMA standards, covering:
Device Side (IPAd): Efficiently manages eSIM configuration on the device side components
eUICC Card Applications (IPAe): Core applications running on secure chips (eUICC)

All components demonstrate excellent performance, outstanding stability, and broad terminal compatibility. This complete service capability significantly lowers the threshold and complexity for IoT terminal manufacturers to implement eSIM technology, helping them achieve rapid and efficient eSIM deployment.
At the same time, Giesecke+Devrient’s IO IoT terminal intelligent initialization online (Bootstrap) solution achieves true “connect on boot” at a low cost. This solution allows IoT devices to establish a channel through a temporary cellular connection upon first boot, followed by seamless downloading and activation of the official eSIM number, completing permanent network connectivity. The entire process is smooth and secure, taking only one minute to complete, greatly enhancing user experience and device onboarding efficiency.

Digital Car Key: A Decade of Refinement Leading the Development of Digital Keys
At the booth, Giesecke+Devrient’s digital car key solution became a highlight due to its maturity and comprehensiveness. This solution embodies nearly a decade of practical experience and technical accumulation, compatible with various mainstream technologies (NFC, BLE, UWB) and core protocols (CCC, ICCE, etc.), providing a complete “vehicle-side – cloud-side – user-side” service component, assisting OEMs in rapid integration and model deployment.
Notably, Giesecke+Devrient introduced the Compass D10 portable UWB digital key. This product innovatively addresses the industry’s pain point of insufficient UWB technology adoption on Android devices, providing OEMs with a flexible and reliable transitional solution for deploying advanced UWB digital key services, effectively clearing technical adoption barriers.
