PMIC – 4-Channel 5A Output Integrated Inductor DC-DC

4-channel output, and integrated inductor DC-DC, the most famous model should be the former Linear Technology’s LTM4644. The LTM4644 not only supports 4-channel 4A output but also has excellent current sharing, allowing for arbitrary combinations of parallel outputs among the four channels. It has been widely used in applications with size constraints and high reliability, making it a classic DC-DC model. Currently, Hangzhou Aino has launched a 4-channel 5A output DC-DC with integrated inductors. Compared to the LTM4644, it has two major drawbacks: the maximum output voltage can only reach 2.0V and it cannot be connected in parallel. However, it also has many advantages. Here are some of them:

1) 4-channel 5A independent output, suitable for size-constrained applications
2) 2.8V to 5V input, full temperature range (-40 to +125 degrees Celsius)
3) 0.45V to 2V output, with each channel able to adjust the output voltage with a step size of 0.005V
4) Interrupt output and I2C interface for dynamic voltage adjustment and power-up sequencing.
5) ±0.7% maximum output error (across full temperature, load, and temperature range)
6) 1.8MHz switching frequency, very high efficiency
7) Comprehensive protection mechanisms against over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current
8) 4x6x1.35mm, LQFN package
