Recently, the 27th National Finals of the China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition was successfully held in Suzhou. Three teams composed of students from the Blockchain Engineering Department of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Hunan Information College, namely “ashore”, “Code Running Designated”, and “Brain-Machine Car Group”, performed excellently in the highly competitive “Robot Task Challenge (Brain-Machine and Emergency Robots)” track, ultimately winning one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize at the national level.
The China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition is an A-level subject competition recognized by the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Society. This year’s competition attracted over 1,200 teams and more than 3,000 contestants from across the country. Since the launch of this event, teams from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Hunan Information College have fully utilized their spare time under the guidance of teachers to continuously optimize their plans, break through key technologies, and conduct repeated simulation drills. The guiding teachers provided comprehensive and in-depth guidance throughout the process, including technical direction, innovative ideas, and on-site defense, laying a solid foundation for the competition results.
This award is another manifestation of Hunan Information College’s persistent educational philosophy of “promoting education through competition, promoting learning through competition, and promoting innovation through competition”. By organizing participation in high-level subject competitions, it effectively stimulates students’ innovative spirit and practical abilities, enhancing their comprehensive qualities in solving complex engineering problems.
