After four years, Huawei officially announced the return of the Kirin chip at its flagship product launch on September 4. The new Kirin 9020 chip is featured in its latest second-generation foldable phone, the Mate XTs. This is the first time in recent years that Huawei has publicly disclosed the specific model of the chip used at a launch event. It is reported that the Mate XTs, equipped with the Kirin 9020 chip and HarmonyOS 5.0, has an overall performance improvement of 36% compared to the previous generation.

Fudan Microelectronics recently announced that its FPAI heterogeneous fusion architecture chip, which integrates CPU, FPGA, and NPU, is progressing smoothly in development, with a product line targeting a computing power range of 4TOPS to 128TOPS. Among them, the first 32TOPS chip has made good progress in market promotion, currently in the introduction phase among customers with high reliability requirements, and market feedback is positive.

Xiangdi Xian’s new generation “Fuxi” architecture GPU completes tape-out
The Xiangdi Xian team announced that its new generation “Fuxi” architecture GPU, using advanced 5nm technology, has completed tape-out. This architecture will launch two new products: the Fuxi A0 for high-end graphics rendering, and the Fuxi B0, a GPU and NPU integrated chip for terminal AI applications. It is reported that its computing power can reach 160TFLOPS (FP32) and is equipped with 12GB of HBM2 high-speed memory, fully supporting the deployment of various mainstream AI large models on the terminal side.

Horizon released its performance announcement for the first half of 2025, showcasing impressive results. During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of 1.567 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67.6%, with a gross profit of 1.024 billion yuan.Horizon maintained its market share leadership in basic driver assistance solutions and overall driver assistance solutions with shares of 45.8% and 32.4%, respectively, with total product and solution deliveries reaching 1.98 million sets, achieving a doubling growth; mid-to-high-end product solutions shipped 980,000 units, achieving a sixfold increase.
