This is the robotic-assisted precision radiotherapy system, which performs radiation surgery with very high precision. By integrating image-guided systems with robotic technology, the radiation precision can reach sub-millimeter levels.

In addition to the robotic components, the system also integrates multiple digital X-ray cameras and an infrared camera to track the treatment of the brain and spine and the movement of organs. This allows for the calculation of breathing models, enabling precise radiotherapy without harming surrounding tissues.

Dr. Alexander Muacevic, a radiation surgeon and neurosurgeon at the Munich CyberKnife Center, said: “Using the virtual surgical knife can effectively treat medium and small tumors, thus replacing surgical treatment. This way, patients can return to work the next day.”
