In recent years, China’s Pharmaceutical Valley has focused on the development of high-end medical device pillar industries, with rapid advancements in the field of surgical robots. Currently, leading companies in the surgical robot sector, such as Shurui, Huake Precision, Zhuzheng, and Rosenbot, have gathered to promote the integration of production, education, research, and medical applications, continuously driving the industrialization of cutting-edge surgical robot technologies. Recently, Shougang Hospital in Beijingwelcomed a domestic surgical tool, with the successful installation of the Shurui single-port laparoscopic surgical robot, further deepening the application scenarios of “robotics + healthcare” and allowing advanced technology to benefit more patients..
The Shurui single-port laparoscopic surgical robot received market approval from the National Medical Products Administration in June 2023. Based on the core technology of “deformable drive control technology for dual continuous systems,” it uniquely features a snake-like surgical arm made of nickel alloy. Under the control of a nonlinear large deformation multi-elasticity algorithm, it not only achieves precise control of bending direction and angle but also ensures high load capacity and arm reliability.
With continuous technological advancements and gradual promotion of clinical applications, the development prospects of the Shurui robot in thoracic surgery are limitless. Currently, the Shurui robot is clinically applied in urology, gynecology, general surgery, thoracic surgery, pediatrics, thyroid and breast surgery, and otolaryngology. In the future, the Shurui robot is expected to be applied and promoted in more fields and medical institutions, providing patients with higher quality medical services. At the same time, the Shurui robot will continue to optimize and innovate to meet the growing clinical demands, making greater contributions to the development of robot-assisted surgery and opening a new chapter in treatment.
