ACROVIEW Programmer Supports SinoWealth's Lithium Battery Protection Front-End Chip SH3676010B

The chip programming leader ACROVIEW Technology recently announced the latest upgrade of its programming software and released a list of newly supported chip models. In this upgrade, the lithium battery protection front-end chip SH3676010B launched by SinoWealth has been included in the support range of ACROVIEW’s universal programmer AP8000.

The SH3676010B features a built-in high-precision voltage detection circuit and delay circuit for voltage, current, and temperature protection, ensuring the safety of the battery pack and extending battery life. It integrates balancing switches to ensure consistency in cell voltage; additionally, it has a disconnection detection function and a low voltage prohibition for charging, enhancing system safety performance.

Application Scenarios

(1) Independent hardware protection system: Configurable voltage, current, and temperature protection thresholds and delays through built-in EEPROM, while allowing customization of product ID (register 00H), enabling flexible matching of different cell requirements and traceability for after-sales maintenance;

(2) Battery pack after-sales status extraction: Read cell voltage, current, temperature, and system status information via UART interface, allowing pure hardware protection packs to easily obtain after-sales information;

(3) Intelligent BMS management system: Read cell voltage, current, temperature, and system status information via UART interface, in conjunction with MCU to achieve an intelligent BMS management system.

Suitable for 6-10 series lithium battery packs, with balancing functionality.

System Block Diagram

ACROVIEW’s self-developed universal programmer AP8000 (one-to-one online/offline programming), (one-to-eight online/offline programming) and eMMC programming, UFS programming support all chip models of SinoWealth for bare chip (offline) programming and on-board programming. The AP8000 universal programmer consists of three main parts: host, baseboard, and adapter. Additionally, as an industry-standard programming platform, the AP8000 not only supports the programming of all programmable chips on the market but also serves as the core bulk programming device for ACROVIEW’s automated safe programming IPS5800S.ACROVIEW Programmer Supports SinoWealth's Lithium Battery Protection Front-End Chip SH3676010B

The host supports both USB and NET connections, enabling networking of multiple programmers for synchronized control during programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal situations such as reversed chip placement or short circuits, and immediately cut off power to ensure the safety of both the chip and the programmer. The host integrates a high-speed FPGA, significantly enhancing data transmission and processing speed. The back of the host features an SD card slot, allowing users to save project files generated by PC software to the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the slot. By using the button on the programmer, users can select, load, and execute programming instructions without relying on a PC, which not only reduces PC hardware configuration costs but also facilitates rapid construction of the working environment.

The AP8000 greatly enhances the host’s expansion capabilities through the combination design of the baseboard and adapter, currently supporting products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering brands such as XTX, NVIDIA, ALTERA, LATTICE, AutoChips, etc. The supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and it is compatible with various file formats including Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF.
