Latest news from Yuntu Semiconductor.
Jiangsu Yuntu Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the ISO 26262 ASIL-D functional safety product certification and received the certification from DEKRA.

SafLib is a functional safety software library designed to implement safety mechanisms, detect and report hardware safety mechanisms, and perform software fault detection. It provides interfaces for the application layer and runtime environment (RTE). For example, it can perform self-test diagnostics on internal chip modules, such as CPU, clock monitoring modules, memory ECC, and interrupt monitors. It can also drive hardware safety mechanisms to ensure that the system can promptly detect faults or errors and place the system in a safe state.
The Yuntu functional safety library is developed according to theAUTOSAR CDD (Complex Device Driver) approach, complying with AUTOSAR CP v4.4 standards, and supports Startup and Run-Time testing. From requirements, architecture, detailed design to verification, all processes strictly adhere to ISO 26262 and ASPICE requirements. The Yuntu MCU SafLib software library supports Yuntu’s self-developed graphical configuration tool YCT and Zhizhong Technology’s Zhizhong Muniu configuration tool, fully supporting Yuntu’s M series and H series chips.
△ Yuntu SafLib Architecture DiagramThe automotive industry is far more sensitive to “safety” than consumer electronics. Automotive manufacturers and component suppliers not only focus on performance parameters when selecting chips but also place great importance on the supplier’s independent safety technology capabilities. Yuntu’s self-developed ASIL-D SafLib is a direct proof of the company’s technical strength: it signifies that Yuntu possesses the full chain capability from “chip hardware safety architecture design” to “hardware-software collaborative optimization,” which can reduce customer development costs, shorten R&D cycles, ensure product safety and reliability, and lower compliance risks.Yuntu SafLib has high scalability, allowing customers to select the necessary software components and configure them according to project requirements. Component manufacturers can use the configuration tool YCT to complete the configuration of various modules of SafLib, generate configuration code files, and integrate them into their projects to meet the functional safety requirements of different application scenarios.
