On August 27, 2025, the First Party Branch of Undergraduates in the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering held a Theme Party Day titled “Remembering the Struggle Journey, Committed to Practical Work and Responsibility”. All party members attended the meeting online, which was hosted by Deputy Secretary Jin Dian.

Comrade Wang Jun led the study
“In-depth Study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speech During His Inspection in Shanxi” and “In-depth Study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speech at the Symposium with Non-Party Personages”
Comrade Wang Jun stated: “General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches during his inspection in Shanxi and at the symposium with non-Party personages not only reflect on the history of the War of Resistance but also emphasize the continuation of the red bloodline, while also focusing on practical development and outlining a blueprint for high-quality development. The General Secretary pointed out the need to promote the spirit of resistance and self-revolution, to drive the transformation and upgrading of resource-based economies; at the same time, we must adhere to stability while seeking progress, expand domestic demand, deepen reforms, promote technological and industrial innovation, and unite consensus for collective effort. We must implement the spirit of learning into practical actions, taking responsibility in talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and serving society, contributing youthful strength to Chinese-style modernization.”

Comrade Jin Dian stated: “The Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee’s Fifteenth Plenary Session comprehensively summarized the development achievements since the beginning of this year, emphasizing the need to deeply implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Party Congress and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection in Jiangxi, focusing on the ‘three major high grounds’ and ‘five major strategies’, and fully promoting high-quality development. The plenary session deployed work for the second half of the year, highlighting reform and innovation, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, coordinating urban-rural integrated development, and effectively ensuring and improving people’s livelihoods. We must internalize the spirit of the plenary session in our hearts and externalize it in our actions, taking responsibility in learning, scientific research, and work, creating new development through practical efforts, and writing a chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Jiangxi through our struggles.”
Special Study
“Positive and Negative Lists of Party Members’ Online Behavior”
Comrade Jin Dian systematically interpreted the “Positive and Negative Lists of Party Members’ Online Behavior”. The list emphasizes that party members should enhance their online literacy and security awareness, actively spread positive energy, resolutely avoid believing, spreading, or creating rumors, and not participate in illegal activities; at the same time, they should also establish a vanguard image in cyberspace, working together online and offline to create a clear and healthy online environment.

Finally, Comrade Zou Lu summarized the meeting and proposed specific requirements for the new semester’s work for party members. She emphasized that party members should abide by the law and self-discipline in cyberspace, resist rumors and negative speech, manage their personal social media accounts well, actively spread positive energy, and dare to identify themselves and speak out; as the new semester approaches, everyone should clarify their learning goals, plan their study schedule, and welcome the new semester with a full state, showcasing the vanguard nature of student party members in learning and service.
