Wang Ruili, the general manager of Fushen Electronics, told reporters that the company’s founder, Yang Yongshen, has a professional background in electronic information and has had a strong interest and talent in the research and innovation of sensor technology since his school days. He has won top honors in national mathematical modeling competitions and science and technology competitions during his studies.
At that time, the sensor industry was developing rapidly, and with his interest in technological research and industry experience, Yang Yongshen chose to dive into the wave of entrepreneurship.
“In the early stages of entrepreneurship, facing issues such as lack of funds, an incomplete team mechanism, insufficient supply chain scale, and lack of industry experience, the company adopted a light asset resource integration model, collaborating with well-known suppliers to enhance brand awareness. For example, strategic cooperation with mature manufacturers like Changhong, which have large-scale production capacity and quality control systems, using a ‘OEM + own brand’ model to steadily advance,” Wang Ruili explained. This approach not only reduced the fixed asset investment of the company in the early stages of entrepreneurship but also allowed the company to focus on research and development and market.
To build an efficient collaborative mechanism and systematically promote digital upgrade projects, Fushen Electronics has established an integrated digital base through OA-CRM-PLM-ERP-MES, achieving full data connectivity; utilizing IoT and AI technologies to create a flexible production system, promoting production line automation upgrades and smart factory transformation. Based on this, the company has solved issues such as management dispersion, product quality control system, and process parameter dispersion.
As of now, Fushen Electronics’ core technologies cover multi-principle sensors and instruments including optical (infrared, laser), electrochemical, MEMS semiconductor, solid-state electrolytes, and catalytic combustion. Products are widely used in humanoid robots, industrial robots, drones, medical health, environmental monitoring, agriculture, smart cities, etc., especially occupying a significant share in the domestic home appliance market. Domestic customers are spread across the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and other regions, while international customers are located in dozens of countries worldwide.

The sensor industry, as a high-barrier industry with multiple interdisciplinary intersections, has high thresholds for technology and talent.
Wang Ruili explained that in overcoming key core technology bottlenecks, the company uses postdoctoral research workstations and its sensor technology R&D platform as innovation carriers, actively building a collaborative innovation system between industry, academia, and research, gathering high-end talents in the industry to enhance core competitiveness and promote the innovative R&D and industrial application of cutting-edge sensors.
In terms of talent system construction, the company strictly limits sales and customer service positions to transformation talents with more than three years of internal R&D experience; the technical support team is entirely composed of R&D engineers, forming a deep technical support capability; a dedicated project manager is established to control the entire process, achieving an end-to-end customized service loop, ensuring rapid product delivery and stable quality. “Through the above methods, Fushen Electronics has now achieved the ability to provide design solutions for different customers within 7 hours and respond quickly within 10 minutes,” Wang Ruili stated.

It is worth mentioning that in the exploration of sensor R&D, Fushen Electronics has developed a bionic olfactory sensor and a high-precision tactile sensing module specifically designed for humanoid robots. This technology can accurately distinguish complex odors in various environments through odor molecule recognition technology, playing an important role in daily life assistance and safety monitoring scenarios. Wang Ruili stated: “This tactile feedback system uses flexible pressure sensing technology to perceive the force, texture, and temperature changes of the contact surface in real-time, providing robots with human-like fine tactile interaction capabilities.”
Regarding the development plan in the technical field, Wang Ruili mentioned that Fushen Electronics will focus on breakthroughs in sensors related to humanoid robots, ultra-low power sensors, optimization of electrochemical sensor catalysts, high-performance optical sensors, medical sensors, and AI device product R&D. Additionally, Fushen Electronics plans to acquire technology-based startups in the electronic information industry to leverage industrial synergy effects.

In recent years, with the arrival of a new round of intelligent industrial revolution, AI sensors have also experienced explosive growth, driving various fields towards an “AI-native” ecosystem.
Wang Ruili stated that in terms of industrial layout, the company will implement a vertical integration strategy for the sensor industry chain, strengthening the advantages of basic components; focusing on tackling the high ground of AI sensor technology, building a smart sensing ecosystem, and creating a perception hub and data entry point for the era of artificial intelligence. At the same time, actively building multinational companies to accelerate the international layout of products and the company. “Our goal is to become a leader in the global sensor industry.”
“In addition, to improve product production efficiency and quality, we expect to complete the intelligent transformation of the workshop by the end of this year. The next step is to equip digital management tools to empower corporate governance and operational management, enhancing overall operational efficiency and providing technical support for high-quality development,” Wang Ruili stated.
