Recently, the Beijing municipal government has placed significant emphasis on the construction of fire IoT perception monitoring systems, incorporating it into the “Three-Year Action Plan for Fire Safety”, “Smart City”, and “Important Livelihood Projects” for deployment and advancement. The Beijing Fire Brigade is actively promoting the installation of the “Three Water and One Electricity” IoT fire equipment monitoring system and has set clear requirements for property management units to take it seriously and thoroughly understand the work requirements and regulatory policies at all levels.

In response to the government’s call and the requirements of the fire department, Meili Nianhua Property has completed the installation of the “Three Water and One Electricity” IoT equipment monitoring system on schedule. This system significantly enhances the early warning capabilities for fire hazards in the park, establishing a robust safety barrier for enterprises within the area.

In today’s society
fire safety is a critical line of defense
for the safety of people’s lives and property
With the acceleration of urbanization, traditional fire management methods face numerous challenges, including untimely upgrades of facilities, limited IoT perception functions, lack of data interoperability, and issues with later maintenance. However, the occurrence of fires is often sudden and unpredictable; missing the optimal early warning time can lead to disastrous consequences.
To address this, the “Three Water and One Electricity” IoT fire equipment monitoring system has emerged. It deeply integrates fire facilities with IoT technology, enabling real-time monitoring and data analysis of key aspects such as fire water usage, electricity usage, and pipeline pressure, allowing for the timely detection of potential fire hazards and providing strong support for fire prevention and emergency response.
Upon receiving notification from the superior authority, the property management leadership took it seriously and quickly deployed relevant departments to advance the special work and implement the installation tasks. After communication and collaboration with the fire brigade, fire maintenance units, and equipment suppliers, a detailed installation plan was formulated promptly. During the installation process, the property management first conducted a comprehensive inspection of the fire facilities within the park, then identified key areas that needed to be connected to the monitoring system, such as fire water tanks, fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, electrical lines, and pressure gauges, based on installation requirements. Finally, professional technicians installed and debugged the equipment according to regulatory requirements, ensuring that every aspect met safety standards.
After the installation of the “Three Water and One Electricity” IoT fire equipment monitoring system was completed, its powerful functions quickly became apparent. In terms of fire water usage, the system can monitor key parameters such as the water level in fire water tanks and pipeline pressure in real-time. If there are issues such as insufficient water levels or abnormal pressure, it immediately issues an alarm. After the installation of intelligent sensing devices in the fire pump control cabinet, it monitors the indoor and outdoor fire hydrant systems and automatic sprinkler systems, issuing timely alarms for any data anomalies to ensure reliable fire water supply. Additionally, the system monitors the linkage status of the fire alarm controller, providing early warnings for real-time current and voltage monitoring of main and backup power, fire alarm information, and fault hazards, which are transmitted in real-time to the Beijing Fire Brigade monitoring center.
Through these functions, the IoT fire equipment monitoring system acts like a vigilant eye, guarding the safety of the park 24 hours a day without interruption. The early warning capabilities for fire hazards in the Yeqing Building Industrial Park have been significantly enhanced, achieving a transition from passive defense to proactive prevention. Moving forward, Meili Nianhua Property will continue to strengthen cooperation with various departments, fully utilizing technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and IoT to improve fire safety governance and fire risk monitoring and early warning capabilities, continuously optimizing fire management work to contribute to building a safe park and a harmonious society.
