In mainland China, the four major semiconductor packaging and testing companies are Changdian Technology in Jiangyin, Tongfu Microelectronics in Nantong, Huatian Technology in Tianshui, Gansu, and Shenghe Jingwei in Jiangyin. In 2024, the operating revenues of these four companies are projected to be 35.96 billion, 23.88 billion, 14.46 billion, and 4.71 billion yuan, respectively. From the data, it is evident that Changdian Technology stands out as a unique entity, with its annual revenue nearly equivalent to the combined total of the second and third places. Moreover, among the four giants, it has the longest history, originating from the Jiangyin Transistor Factory established in 1972. Although Shenghe Jingwei is a newcomer, it has developed rapidly. In the first half of this year, its operating revenue reached 3.18 billion yuan, exceeding two-thirds of last year’s total.
