At the end of 2021, MediaTek released the first flagship SoC based on TSMC’s 4nm process – the Dimensity 9000, along with the Dimensity 8000 series based on 5nm, which is expected to enter mass production and meet the public in 2022. Recent leaks indicate that the Dimensity 8000 series includes two SoCs, namely the Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 8100, with more information about their release dates.
According to leaksters, the new models of the Dimensity 8000 and 8100 will be launched next month, in March, while Qualcomm’s new mid-range platform has yet to show any signs of activity, leading to the impression that Qualcomm might be slacking off
Specifically, the three SoCs from MediaTek Dimensity 8000, Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 9000 are reportedly targeting Snapdragon 870/Snapdragon 888/Snapdragon 8 Gen1, so it remains to be seen how they perform~
I hope the mass-produced models of Dimensity are released soon
