The Huarong District Semiconductor Industrial Park, focusing on semiconductors, intelligent manufacturing, and optoelectronic information industries, has been advancing steadily since its inception with the core goal of “ensuring quality and speeding up progress.” Through scientific planning and efficient execution, the project construction is progressing smoothly,with the main structure of the R&D comprehensive building and production workshops No. 3 and No. 4 expected to be capped by December,pressing the “accelerate” button for subsequent construction in the park.
Entering the construction site of the Huarong District Semiconductor Industrial Park, a bustling construction scene comes into view:The tower cranes stretch their “long arms,” accurately transporting formwork materials; excavators roar as they work, meticulously leveling the ground; construction workers, taking advantage of the cool weather, are busy and orderly at their respective posts, from foundation construction to structural assembly, every process is smoothly connected, showcasing the “acceleration” of construction.“Currently, the first floor of Building No. 1 is under construction, aiming to complete the first floor concrete pouring by the end of the month; production workshops No. 3 and No. 4 are undergoing construction of the bearing platform and foundation beams, with concrete pouring for the bearing platform and foundation beams to be completed by the end of the month,” said Liu Huan, the project deputy manager.
To ensure the project progresses according to schedule, the construction party is focusing on “planning, execution, and control”:Initially, a detailed construction plan was developed, breaking the project down into multiple key stages and specific tasks, clarifying time nodes, responsible personnel, and resource requirements for each link, allowing the construction process to be “rule-based”;During the process, a dynamic progress tracking mechanism was established, and once progress deviations are detected, technical and construction teams are organized to analyze the reasons and quickly formulate adjustment plans to effectively avoid the risk of delays; at the same time,strictly adhering to the bottom line of engineering quality, arranging professional technical personnel for on-site supervision, and collaborating with supervisory units to conduct quality acceptance for each process, allowing the next phase to proceed only after passing acceptance, effectively ensuring project quality.
It is reported that the total investment in the Huarong District Semiconductor Industrial Park is approximately 110 million yuan, covering an area of about 65 acres, with a total construction area of 61,200 square meters, planning to build 6 individual buildings, including an R&D comprehensive building, production workshops, storage workshops, and dormitory buildings, fully meeting the needs of enterprises for R&D, production, storage, and employee accommodation.Notably, the park will also integrate rainwater recovery systems, microgrids, and rooftop photovoltaic systems, constructing a smart energy management system, creating a green and low-carbon optoelectronic industrial park, providing an environmentally friendly and efficient development environment for resident enterprises.
As an important industrial carrier for Ezhou to connect with the Wuhan metropolitan area, the completion of this industrial park will fully leverage its proximity to Wuhan Optics Valley,precisely undertaking the overflow resources of Wuhan’s semiconductor industry, deeply integrating into Wuhan’s trillion-level industrial cluster of “light, chip, screen, terminal, and network,”and constructing a cross-regional collaboration model of “Wuhan R&D + Ezhou Manufacturing.” This will not only help Ezhou seize the high ground in semiconductor industry development but also promote complementary industrial chains and resource element connectivity between Ezhou and Wuhan, injecting strong industrial momentum into Ezhou to build a demonstration area for coordinated development in the Wuhan metropolitan area, accelerating the process of regional economic integration.
