SOC9000 Programmable Exchange
Military Manual Switchboard Solution

Shenou Communication

01
Background of the Solution
The Shenou SOC9000 military programmable exchange is a device for building command systems in the military. The three-level network of the armed police integrates data, voice, and video services into a comprehensive network system, established to meet the unique three-level (from headquarters to brigade, brigade to battalion, battalion to company) command system of the armed police, aiming to create a modern information highway for the armed police.

02
Implementation of the Solution
The armed police have very strict requirements for command issuance and internal communication, with a high degree of confidentiality. Communication with the PSTN is also strictly controlled. The Shenou SOC9000 programmable exchange supports domestic military soft seats and magnetic relays, achieving the military’s requirements for monitoring, forced disconnection, and forced insertion.

03
Objectives of the Solution
Through the Shenou SOC9000 programmable exchange solution, achieve integrated intelligent operation and maintenance of “monitoring, management, control, and service”, in conjunction with the Shenou device unified management system, reducing operation and maintenance costs and improving efficiency. 24/7 monitoring, with port-level monitoring, achieving “capillary-level” digital operation and maintenance, second-level alarm monitoring, remote access to device interfaces, remote packet capture, all-weather ECG curve monitoring of problematic devices, scheduled task strategies, upgrades, log and configuration backups, reboots, and port releases, enabling programmable operation and maintenance. Networking services, 1+n remote disaster recovery, automatic synchronization of number changes across the network, effective within 5 minutes, and any node network failure at the brigade or battalion level does not affect calls between other nodes.
04
Solution Overview
The Shenou SOC9000 military programmable exchange networking solution implements efficient and secure call handling through manual switchboard functionality. All incoming calls to the armed police/military can be routed to the Shenou manual switchboard system, where they can be transferred to extensions by operators or set to automatically forward to extension numbers, facilitating daily use while protecting internal extension numbers.

System Features
● Number of Physical Ports
The SOC9000 series supports up to 2048 physical ports, suitable for medium to large company group calls.
● Tens of Thousands of Account Numbers
With a built-in account system, it supports 10,000 accounts, allowing users to log in to their accounts from any port on the exchange, with independent billing based on account level and deposit balance. It supports independent passwords, allowing users to modify their 1-6 digit passwords to ensure account security.
● Voice Navigation Function
Equipped with a dedicated digital signal processor, it supports 128 segments of voice and multi-level voice navigation functions to handle complex voice navigation schemes, enhancing user experience.
● Signaling Monitoring Function
Replacing traditional external signaling monitoring devices, the SOC9000 series exchanges achieve built-in signaling monitoring, reducing maintenance costs and facilitating professional maintenance.
● Built-in Music on Hold
It features built-in music on hold, supporting 80 selectable tunes, allowing each extension to choose different hold music based on personal preference.
● Non-blocking Digital Switching Method
With a modular design structure, it employs a non-blocking fourth-generation ultra-large-scale digital switching network.
● Main Control Hot Backup (Optional)
Based on user needs, an additional main control board can be added. When the primary control board requires maintenance, it automatically switches to the backup board, ensuring the exchange operates normally.
● Dual PC Interfaces
Equipped with dual serial ports, it can connect to two computers simultaneously for real-time monitoring and management of calls, programming, and data settings. The PC call function is powerful and user-friendly, with a rich Chinese menu prompt, allowing beginners to master it without special training.
The exchange provides an external music source input interface, allowing for the selection of internal and external background music.
● Comprehensive Self-Check Function
It can perform self-checks at the chip level for the main control and sub-control boards, as well as for each independent user/relay.
● Call Records Never Lost
The system uses a super-large capacity Flash call record storage system, capable of storing up to 2 million independent call records even without a computer call station. In the event of a sudden power outage, the digital programmable exchange will automatically stop sending call records to the call station. Thanks to the non-volatile nature of Flash, data remains intact for up to ten years after power loss, and even if the mainboard is damaged, as long as the Flash chip is intact, the call records can be retrieved using specialized equipment, ensuring that call records are never lost.
● Has Gateway Functionality
Due to the various relay interfaces, the exchange supports complete E1 relay signaling, such as NO.1, NO.7, PRI, etc., and integrates VOIP relays, providing users with multiple networking options. The connection methods are diverse, including voice interconnection between digital relays (or VOIP) and loop relays, as well as between digital relays (or VOIP) and digital relays (or VOIP), allowing for direct interconnection.
● Remote Maintenance
Users can connect via the Internet or through E1 for semi-permanent connections, enabling remote programming, real-time call monitoring, billing inquiries, and software troubleshooting, providing timely solutions for users’ concerns.
● High Reliability
External ports (user circuits, relay circuits) are equipped with over-voltage and over-current protection, ensuring that even if 220V AC power is mistakenly connected, the exchange will not be damaged, and the system can automatically recover after the issue is resolved.
