Recently, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Department of Nuodong Coal Mine, based on its supervisory responsibilities, has formed a special inspection team in conjunction with the safety management department to conduct special supervision and inspection of the implementation of safety production responsibilities in key areas and critical links of the mine, ensuring that various safety production decisions and deployments are effectively implemented with strict discipline.
Focusing on Responsibility Implementation, Strengthening Political Supervision
The inspection team adheres to the positioning of “supervision of supervision,” closely monitoring the safety production responsibility chain. They focus on the execution of documents such as the “Six Measures for Safety Management Responsibilities at Coal Mines in Qianxinan Prefecture” and the “Decision by Guizhou Yunen on Safety Work for 2025” through reviewing materials, on-site inspections, and individual interviews. They check whether the safety management department fulfills its supervisory responsibilities, organizes and carries out work normally, and whether other production departments implement work according to document requirements. For issues found during inspections, such as management personnel not fulfilling their duties and responsibilities being ineffective, on-site rectification requirements are proposed, and a problem list is established to ensure issues are rectified properly.
Focusing on Key Links, Deepening Precise Supervision
In line with the actual situation of the mine, the inspection team conducted “embedded” inspections in key locations such as the mechanical repair workshop, ground substation, sewage treatment station, and surface explosives depot, focusing on equipment management, fire safety facilities, and emergency plans. Additionally, they conducted video inspections and random checks on the work performance of on-duty personnel. They promptly issued an “Inspection Recommendation” for the 12 issues identified during inspections and held management discussions with individuals who did not fulfill their duties, promoting closed-loop management of problem rectification.
Strict Discipline Requirements, Building a Long-term Mechanism
Safety production is not only a “red line” but also a “bottom line.” Leaders at all levels must resolutely overcome complacency and a fluke mentality. The Discipline Inspection and Supervision Department will incorporate the implementation of safety production responsibilities into daily supervision priorities, holding accountable those who fail to rectify issues or are perfunctory; at the same time, they will promote the establishment of a regulatory system that is “horizontal to the edge and vertical to the bottom,” effectively safeguarding the high-quality development of enterprises through effective supervision.
In the next step, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Department of the mine will continue to strengthen the full-chain control of “supervision + rectification + follow-up checks” to solidify the safety production defense line and provide strong disciplinary guarantees for stable and healthy development.
