While no OEM manufacturer had been able to achieve this before, someone has now brought us a surprise. Yes, NODE, through relentless effort and creativity, has finally brought us the Raspberry Pi 3 Slim. This is a fully functional mini computer that is even small enough to fit in your wallet.

In fact, the Raspberry Pi Zero is already a very compact computer. But to be honest, the performance of the Raspberry Pi 3 is quite average, only suitable for use as a simple controller or computing unit. In contrast, the Raspberry Pi 3 has stronger performance, especially when paired with appropriate components, it can become quite a decent computer. Most components of the Raspberry Pi 3 are already quite small compared to standard computer parts and are not much bigger than a credit card. Of course, very few people can achieve such thinness in the market.

To solve this problem, NODE has made relentless efforts and certain sacrifices. For example, they removed all extra connection components, including USB ports, HDMI ports, and even GPIO pins. Only the microUSB power port and microSD card reader are retained. Additionally, two external USB ports can be provided to compensate for the lack of ports.

Like many geek modifications, we also need to use 3D printing technology to create a case for it. Especially considering that all current third-party cases for the Raspberry Pi are thicker than this modified result, but we also have to consider ventilation issues, as performance needs to be strong, but heat dissipation cannot be overlooked.

Moreover, reducing the performance of the Raspberry Pi 3 Slim will naturally limit other functionalities. Despite the absence of GPIO pins, there are also no video output ports. Therefore, since there is no need to switch between systems, this makes the Raspberry Pi 3 Slim even more compact.
