With the development of display technology, the use of LCD displays has become increasingly common, and more and more self-service devices are utilizing LCD displays. During usage, we encounter various issues, and next, I will share troubleshooting methods for black screen issues in LCD displays.
There are two reasons for a black screen in an LCD display: 1. A fault in the LCD display itself. 2. A fault not related to the LCD display.
Understanding the cause of the fault, we can proceed with the troubleshooting:
Step 1: After the LCD display goes black, first check whether the LED light behind the screen is functioning normally.
Step 2: If the LED light is on and shows yellow, the power issue can be ruled out. Then unplug the signal cable (VGA/DVI/HDMI) from the display, reconnect the power cable, and under normal conditions, the screen should show a blue screen or no signal. This indicates that the screen is functioning properly; check the signal cable and the industrial control host to ensure they are functioning normally.
Step 3: If the LED light is off, check whether the power cable is intact and whether the socket has power. If possible, replace the power cable with a good one for troubleshooting.
The above are easy methods to troubleshoot black screen issues in LCD touch displays. I hope this helps everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to message or leave a comment for me. Thank you!
