【Event Review】Growth Secrets of Embedded Experts
Peer Workshop Event

On May 21, the Peer Workshop event was successfully held! We invited senior student Wang Zhihong from the Internet of Things Engineering major to deliver an in-depth sharing focused on technical growth and career planning.

Sharing Content
Senior Wang Zhihong presented a “hardcore” experience feast for students, combining his own growth path from a competition expert to an embedded engineer:
🔹 Competitions and Project Practice: Revealing the technical selection and team collaboration skills of award-winning projects in national IoT design competitions and energy-saving competitions
🔹 Embedded Development Advancement Guide: Cross-platform development experience from STM32 to Jetson Nano, detailing core capabilities such as Linux system development and multi-thread optimization
🔹 Job Breakthrough Strategies: How to turn scientific innovation projects into resume highlights? Analysis of high-frequency interview points for embedded positions (with exclusive interview question bank)
🔹 Side Job Empowering Studies: Sharing experiences as a “scientific innovation project designer” and demonstrating how to monetize technology to support professional learning

Interactive Session
Students actively asked questions around topics such as “how to balance competitions and studies” and “trends in the embedded industry.” Senior Wang used the smart lighting system project as an example to break down the challenges of integrating ESP32 with the YOLO algorithm, revealing, “The design of the 3D printed shell’s buckle was changed 7 times”—allowing students to deeply appreciate the meticulous details involved in engineering implementation.
Conclusion
This event concluded in a “hardcore” atmosphere of soldering wires and coding. Senior Wang Zhihong provided a replicable growth template for the career development of technical students with his pragmatic attitude of “letting projects speak and proving with PCB boards.”
