Never Be a Slave! The First Domestic LCD Screen is Born: Redmi Launches

On May 24, the Redmi Note 11T series was officially launched, featuring two versions: Pro and Pro+.

Both new models are equipped with the high-end 6.6-inch LCD display from TCL Huaxing, supporting a 144Hz seven-speed variable refresh rate + 270Hz touch sampling rate, hardware-level blue light protection, HDR 10, and full DC dimming.

The Note 11T Pro+ features the only LCD model currently certified with Display Mate A+ and has broken 14 screen records.

This display supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and employs a special pixel design along with fast-response liquid crystal technology to achieve high frame rate displays. By optimizing the panel design, the refresh rate of the LCD screen has been increased from 60Hz to 144Hz. It can automatically switch between seven refresh rates of 30/48/50/60/90/120/144Hz and match the display frame rate according to the content frame rate.

Regarding the eye protection technology of this screen, TCL Huaxing’s low blue light technology shifts the main wavelength of blue light LEDs to the red end, combined with a special color film design, adjusting the intensity of light in the 415nm to 455nm range, reducing the proportion of harmful blue light by about 50% while maintaining color fidelity.

Additionally, the unique RGB arrangement of the LCD screen allows for finer and clearer displays at the same PPI. Full DC dimming can completely eliminate flicker, maintaining the screen’s operation under high-frequency flicker through precise algorithms, reducing visual strain.

Previously, TCL Huaxing officially signed a cooperation agreement with Xiaomi to establish a joint laboratory, indicating that both parties will continue to conduct in-depth cooperation on semiconductor display technology and share technological achievements.

It is reported that earlier models such as the Xiaomi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi flagship model MIX4, Xiaomi 12, and Redmi K50 gaming version all feature screens provided by TCL Huaxing.
