In the keynote speech titled “From ‘Robot Controller’ to ‘Embodied Intelligence Control Platform'”, Dr. Zhang Xiaohui, Chief Engineer of Tuosida, systematically elaborated on the innovative path of integrating artificial intelligence with the industrial ecosystem.
Currently, traditional industrial robots have limited coverage in industrial scenarios, primarily applied in standardized fields such as automotive and 3C, making it difficult to meet the flexible production needs of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises for diverse varieties and small batches. Due to the scarcity and mismatch of industry application experience and product implementation capabilities,the market urgently needs “intelligent robots that understand processes”.
Dr. Zhang pointed out: “Intelligent control systems based on large models will break the boundaries between the digital world and physical entities, reconstructing the robot industry ecosystem, optimizing existing application performance, lowering usage thresholds, and generating more application scenarios across various industries.”
He proposed, “By continuously overcoming application scenarios based on the embodied intelligence control system, accumulating data to continuously produce skill models, ultimately supporting general intelligence, the skill model for industrial scenarios is the necessary path for embodied intelligence skill learning. Through the embodied intelligence technology accumulated in industrial scenarios, there are significant advantages in terms of standardization and maturity, which can effectively spill over to commercial, household, and other general scenarios.”
