Loongson Technology revealed at today’s performance briefing that the Loongson 3A6000 PC processor will obtain samples in the first half of 2023.

In addition, the 3A5000 + 7A2000 for desktop applications and the 3C5000 + 7A2000 for server applications have completed productization, supporting industry chain partners to launch related products. Loongson has arranged for the research and development of the 8-core 2K3000 single-chip SOC, and the 2K3000 will also tape out in the first half of next year.

Loongson Technology achieved an operating income of 484 million yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year decrease of 37.55%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 73.048 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 38.60%.

According to IT Home, the Loongson 3A6000 PC processor uses the same 12nm process as the Loongson 3C5000 server processor, with simulation scores improved by 30% compared to the current 3A5000 series, and floating-point scores improved by 60% compared to the 3A5000 series. Industry insiders analyze that the IPC of the Loongson 3A6000 PC processor will reach the level of AMD Zen3 or 11th generation Core.
