1. Introduction of the Teacher

Professor Xia Yuwen graduated from Tsinghua University in 1968 with a major in computer technology and devices. In 1981, he obtained a master’s degree in communications from Beihang University. He later studied abroad as a government-sponsored scholar at the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney. After returning to China, he served as a professor at the School of Electronic Information Engineering at Beihang University and is recognized in the EDA industry as an excellent teacher and design expert. Professor Xia has been teaching for over forty years, nurturing countless graduates and undergraduates who now work in well-known companies and key positions in China’s IC design field.

2. Lecture Content

• Part 1: Sharing of FPGA design experience. Professor Xia will explain the application prospects and learning methods of FPGA based on his teaching, research, and student training experiences.
• Part 2: Sharing of introductory learning about FPGA. Student Li Yifan (a graduate student at Beihang University) will share his learning methods for FPGA based on his own experiences.
• Part 3: Q&A and discussion session.
