Introduction to Hefei Hengshuo Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
Hefei Hengshuo Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is dedicated to the design, development, and production of advanced semiconductor flash memory chips and embedded flash memory. The core team members come from Silicon Valley in the United States and top domestic memory companies, possessing years of experience in project management, manufacturing, design, and sales of flash memory chips, as well as successful entrepreneurial experience. The company has established strategic partnerships with several wafer production and packaging factories to jointly develop NAND, NOR flash, EEPROM, and other new types of memory products.
The company was registered in February 2015 in the Luyang District of Hefei City, at the University of Science and Technology of China Alumni Industrial Park. The company has R&D centers in Shanghai Pudong and Hefei; sales centers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Additionally, the company has established a Flash Memory joint development laboratory and testing center at the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei and Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen.

Introduction to 2D NOR and 3D NAND (3D Flash) Chips
This project is a joint research and industrialization effort between Hefei Hengshuo Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Wuhan Xinxin Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. (XMC), and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) to develop 2D NOR Flash and 3D NAND flash chips with completely independent Chinese intellectual property rights. Hefei Hengshuo Semiconductor is responsible for the design, testing, and sales of 3D Flash products; SMIC and Wuhan Xinxin are responsible for the research and production of Flash process technology.
In the three years since its establishment, Hengshuo Semiconductor has successively mass-produced six models of 65nm NOR flash memory chips, achieving a leading position in the consumer and industrial electronic markets in China, with products widely recognized by customers. The Hengshuo brand has become a quality brand for NOR flash memory in China. In 2017, sales exceeded 110 million yuan, achieving net profit for the company. Hengshuo Semiconductor’s goal is to make our NAND flash the number one brand in China within 3-4 years, catching up to or surpassing the advanced level of global 3D Flash manufacturing and products.
This series of NOR/NAND flash memory chips are key components in various modern electronic products, such as mobile phones, computers, high-definition digital televisions, industrial control, wireless communications, office and medical equipment, automotive electronics, national defense security, and cloud storage systems. They are also core storage chips for various information security systems, such as mobile information terminals, USB Key systems, and encryption engine USB drives.
