With the rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the networking and intelligence of household appliances are gradually becoming popular in the industry. Traditional smart appliances use non-cellular technologies such as Bluetooth and WiFi for networking, which leads to complex configuration, low connection rates, and security issues. Biling Zhilian has created the “Household Appliance Data Acquisition Core Board” based on the common needs and new trends in the appliance industry, fully leveraging the advantages of cellular technology for simple connectivity, data security, and continuously optimized large-scale application costs, helping appliance companies quickly realize product networking and intelligence.
Simple Networking, Automatic Connection Upon Power-Up
The core board utilizes the unique automatic network search, access, and authentication features of cellular technology to enable automatic networking of appliances upon power-up and securely and stably upload appliance data to the cloud platform, eliminating the need for manual configuration, reducing customer operations, enhancing user experience, and lowering communication costs between appliance companies and customers for installation and after-sales service.
Rich Interfaces, Supporting Mainstream Appliance Interfaces
The core board is compatible with mainstream interfaces such as serial port, CAN, and USB, which can be selected as needed to meet customers’ differentiated and personalized product requirements, allowing real-time collection of appliance operating status and control commands, facilitating customer monitoring and use of appliances.
Convenient Operations and Maintenance, Supporting Local and Remote Control
The core board supports remote control, allowing remote settings or modifications of appliance operating parameters and on-demand remote switching of appliances; it also supports remote upgrades and maintenance, reducing operational costs and improving operational convenience.
Cost-Effective, Developed Based on OpenCPU Capabilities
The core board is developed based on Biling Zhilian’s new generation of cost-effective Cat.1 module ML307R OpenCPU capabilities, reducing overall costs by more than 10%; it adopts high-reliability design to meet the high stability requirements for long-term use of appliances.
In the future, Biling Zhilian will continue to strengthen the core board capabilities of the module and enhance cooperation with the China Mobile Collaborative Innovation Base to promote leading appliance companies to actively embrace the cellular IoT trend, support the innovative development of smart appliance products, and jointly create a beautiful prospect for the Internet of Things in life.
