Step One:
Create a new project, enter the new project wizard, and select the model;
Step Two:
In the project new wizard, select “Standard I/F (RS422/485)” in the “Connection Machine Settings” under “I/F”;
Step Three:
Complete the touch screen settings as follows;
After editing the touch screen interface, download the project to the touch screen.
Step Four:
Set “485 Serial Port” in PLC FX5U to “MELSOFT Connection”;
Step Five:
Download the project to the PLC and power it on again;
Step Six:
Connect the cable;
Finally, the settings for connecting the FX5U PLC and Mitsubishi touch screen are complete. As long as the communication cable between the FX5U PLC and the Mitsubishi touch screen is connected properly, the PLC and the touch screen can communicate normally.
