Note:
-
1) Yellow protection band: Originally for mobile use 1880-1900 (20M), telecom used 1860-1875 (15M). Due to interference between TD and FDD, a 5M isolation band is required between 1875-1880. After telecom cleared the frequency band occupied by small talk (1900-1920) back to mobile, mobile then has a complete 40M frequency band from 1880-1920, but the isolation band is cleared by mobile from 1880-1885 (5M). Thus, telecom can use 1860-1880 for a complete 20M carrier. Mobile uses 1885-1920 for 35M.

2) According to the approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in June this year regarding China Telecom’s use of the 800M and 2100M frequency bands for LTE networking, China Telecom can redeploy LTE FDD in the CDMA 1X/DO frequency bands 825-835/870-880, 1920-1940/2110-2130.

3) According to the recent approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology regarding China Unicom’s adjustment of certain frequencies for LTE networking, China Unicom can redeploy LTE FDD in the original 2G and WCDMA frequency bands 909-915/954-960, 1735-1750/1830-1845, 1940-1965/2130-2155.
