On June 11, 2019, an event titled “Discussion on the Application of IoT Sensors in the Sports Industry” was successfully held, guided by the Shenzhen Nanshan District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and organized by the Shenzhen Nanshan Technology Entrepreneurship Service Center, with joint hosting by the Shenzhen IoT Intelligent Technology Application Association and Shenzhen International Sports Expo Co., Ltd., and supported by the Shenzhen Hive IoT Public Welfare Foundation and the Shenzhen IoT Sports Professional Committee.

This event gathered elites from the sensor and sports industries to discuss several major directions, including the application of IoT sensors in the sports industry and the problems encountered.

In his speech, Yu Yu, Executive President of the Shenzhen IoT Association, stated that this year marks the third year of the association hosting science and technology activities for the Nanshan District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, and the Shenzhen IoT Association will also hold a series of technology innovation seminars in the next two months.

Dr. Lin Xin, Director of the Shenzhen Hive IoT Application Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech on “Development of IoT Sensors and Their Applications in the Sports Industry,” detailing the development of sensors, basic knowledge of IoT, and sensor technology in smart sports. He compared the development status of smart sports in China and abroad, indicating that there is significant room for growth in China’s smart sports. He concluded by forecasting the future trends of sensor technology and high-end equipment based on advanced sensor technology.

Ruge Technology, a leader in the development of golf simulation system technology, is a leading indoor golf operator in China, independently developing smart hardware, software, course library, and internet platform to redefine golf simulators.

He Zhonghuan from HandScape shared the theme of “Application and Commercialization of Touch Field Sensing Technology in Electronic Sports,” mainly explaining the key technology – touch field sensing technology, as well as the origin of this project and its product highlights and future market scale.
After the keynote speeches, attending entrepreneurs engaged in deeper communication and exchanges, and the event concluded successfully.
