September 8, the Wenshan Science Association’s 2025 theme event “Technology Changes Life, Innovation Wins the Future” entered Ameng Primary School, building a bridge for students in mountainous areas to touch science and explore innovation through three immersive experience dimensions, allowing the spark of technology to quietly bloom on campus.

Multidimensional Interaction Unlocks New Ways of Scientific Exploration

The event focused on four core subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, and astronomy, innovatively adopting a dual-mode teaching model of “exhibition interpretation + experimental interaction.” Over 30 sets of science exhibition items were neatly displayed, from interesting devices revealing the causes of static electricity to ecological models restoring photosynthesis, and hands-on spectrometers and molecular building components, transforming abstract knowledge from textbooks into tangible practical experiences. Staff and science volunteers guided students throughout, encouraging them to cultivate scientific thinking through a complete process of “observing phenomena – raising questions – hands-on verification,” experiencing the charm of the disciplines.

AI Experience: Feel the New Charm of Intelligent Technology

The most eye-catching part of the event was the AI interaction segment. Twelve humanoid robots performed a mixed dance ballet, with joint flexibility reaching 85% of that of a human, and their precise and smooth movements paired with dynamic music elicited cheers from over 1,400 students present. The robotic dogs that followed showcased high-difficulty actions such as jumping, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and interaction with people, even able to perform impromptu shows based on commands, vividly demonstrating the application scenarios of artificial intelligence in real life, allowing everyone to intuitively feel the infinite possibilities of technological development.

Class 1 (1): Lu Yongning

“The science caravan is really fun, there are many magical things inside.”

Class 6 (1): Kuang Weitao

“It was the first time I saw a robotic dog that could follow commands. It walks and stands like a real puppy. This visit made me fall in love with technology, it’s so cool.”

This immersive science popularization activity, through touchable, experiential, and interactive forms, allowed students in mountainous areas to closely contact cutting-edge technology, not only broadening their scientific horizons but also sowing the seeds of innovation in their hearts. The event provided a replicable and promotable practical example for scientific quality education in rural schools, injecting strong momentum into cultivating the scientific literacy of rural youth in the new era.
