The JinXian 9906C1 is an authentication chip designed specifically for multi-in-one wireless chargers for watches and phones, integrating dual-channel authentication functions for both watches and phones. It completes device identification and authentication processes via the I²C communication interface. During the authentication communication process for the watch and phone modules, they share the same slave address 0x10, which cannot be enabled simultaneously. The communication type can be selected as either watch or phone authentication module through macro definitions on the main control side, achieving a dual charging experience with seamless compatibility.

The JinXian 9906C1 has a wide operating voltage range, supporting input from 2.5 V to 5.0 V, with a typical reference operating voltage of 3.3 V. The I²C interface can achieve a maximum clock rate of 400 kHz, ensuring efficient and reliable data transmission. Additionally, it does not include pull-up resistors internally, allowing users to customize the pull-up resistor values (recommended 4.7 kΩ) according to their actual PCB design needs to optimize signal integrity and power consumption..

In terms of performance validation, JinXian Technology organized a comprehensive testing process covering programming qualification rates, watch compatibility, and phone compatibility. In the programming and inspection tests of 100 chips, the 9906C1 achieved a 100% qualification rate, demonstrating high yield and quality stability during production and testing phases. Furthermore, batch testing of 50 chips was conducted on the S5 watch and iPhone 12 Pro Max, with all test combinations showing no abnormalities in key indicators such as authentication voltage, current, and power output..

The JinXian 9906C1 uses a DFN-8 small package (2.5 × 2.5 × 0.55 mm). It is reported that the chip’s GND, VCC, SCL, and SDA four key pins are responsible for ground, power, I²C clock, and data channel functions, while the remaining pins are designed to be left floating to reduce the risk of electrical interference. The chip’s compact shape greatly saves PCB space, making it easy to integrate into wireless charging bases or power banks with limited volume.
At the same time, JinXian Technology has reserved four test points for VCC, GND, SCL, and SDA in the design, facilitating subsequent upgrades, maintenance, and production line quality control, enhancing the product’s maintainability and lifecycle management efficiency.
