On the morning of August 29, Zheng Jiaxi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Jiusan Society, led a research team to Wuhan Gelanruo Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. and the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center for an investigation. Zhao Zheng, Director of the Industrial Research Institute of the Wuhan High-tech Industry Association, along with Li Weigang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee of the Jiusan Society, committee member Yu Jian, and Economic Committee member Sun Juncong, participated in the research.
At Wuhan Gelanruo Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd., the research team learned about the company’s development history, core business layout, and strategic planning. Wen Xianglong, project director of the humanoid robot project and a member of the Jiusan Society, provided a detailed introduction to the research progress of the “Laborer” series humanoid robots. The research team observed the control demonstration of the humanoid robot’s motion and perception systems on-site, engaging in in-depth discussions on the company’s key technical research challenges, supply chain status, industrialization and market applications, as well as policy and talent needs.
At the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, the research team learned about the center’s construction status, main functions, and operational mechanisms, visiting the data collection area, simulation training area, industrial and commercial application practice area, interactive intelligent application practice area, and comprehensive application practice area for humanoid robots, gaining a close understanding of the living application scenarios of humanoid robots.Zheng Jiaxi stated that this investigation provided valuable insights into the front lines of humanoid robot technology research and industrial applications.
