In commercial places like shops and offices with high foot traffic and many obstructions, the network signal fluctuates. What should we do?

With a plethora of network and surveillance related devices, maintenance is difficult, wiring is troublesome, and costs are high. What should we do?

For cameras that are spaced far apart, video signals are unstable. What should we do?

These problems have long been difficult to solve and have troubled many users.

WiFi + Surveillance Integrated Design: Flexible and Stable Networking

Today, let me introduce to you how to design a WiFi network + surveillance solution that suits your needs.

The integration of WiFi network and surveillance offers the following advantages, helping to effectively solve this major problem:

Simple wiring, low maintenance costs

Applicable to most indoor and outdoor scenarios

Strong expandability, high flexibility, plug and play

Commonly used in hotels, shops, villas, etc.

Next, let’s take a look at three common WiFi + surveillance networking solutions!

Solution One

WiFi + Surveillance Integrated Design: Flexible and Stable Networking

Determine the number and location of wireless panel APs based on actual conditions, use a PoE AC router to connect to the optical modem to access the network, and then connect the wireless panel APs one by one to complete the whole house WiFi networking.

If some APs are relatively dispersed, a PoE switch can be used for bridging, and the remaining ports of the PoE AC router can directly connect to cameras and recorders, with the recorder connected to a monitor to complete the surveillance networking.

Note: PoE AC router = PoE switch + AC router

Advantages: Simple wiring, suitable for relatively concentrated small-scale scenarios

Solution Two

WiFi + Surveillance Integrated Design: Flexible and Stable Networking

If the surveillance points are dispersed and there may be future additions, you can add an access switch based on Solution One, connecting cameras on one side and the PoE AC router and recorder on the other side.

Advantages: The router and switch only need one network cable connection, making wiring more flexible, suitable for scenarios where surveillance points are dispersed

Solution Three

If the distance between the access switch and the recorder is short, you can combine the access PoE switch and the recorder by using a PoE recorder instead.

Advantages: Saves on switch costs, simpler wiring
