In version 6.12, the enhancement of many AD items naturally led us to believe that ADC heroes would rise. However, if we break down these enhanced items — Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster both increased in attack power, and the Armor Penetration Bow also added attack power, which means that crit-based heroes have a greater chance of rising to prominence.
Tristana — The Yordle Gunner
Tristana is one of the most explosive ADC heroes, but her most important attributes are not attack power, but attack speed and crit chance. Infinity Edge and Hurricane are Tristana’s strongest output items in the mid-game. After the 6.12 update, Infinity Edge’s attack power has also received a boost, which is very beneficial for heroes whose primary attribute is crit. The presence of her Q skill allows Tristana to maximize the effects of Hurricane. It’s most efficient to first build a BF Sword before transitioning to Hurricane, ensuring a stable increase in attributes. Besides her crit advantage, Tristana has a natural advantage of having a longer attack range, so the best defense for her is to output as much as possible. Of course, if you’re not confident in your positioning, you can opt for defensive items like the Hexdrinker to increase your survivability.

Jinx — The Loose Cannon
Since being nerfed, Jinx has gradually faded from players’ sight, as she lacks effective escape mechanisms besides Flash, and switching to her rocket weapon consumes a lot of mana. Thus, learning to manage her mana while laning has become a must for Jinx. However, in this version, the three items Jinx desperately needs — Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster, and Armor Penetration Bow — have all received enhancements. This greatly boosts Jinx’s teamfight damage and capability. This is because Jinx generally uses her rocket form during teamfights, which has a range of 650, allowing her to deal effective damage from a distance. In lane, she can use her Q skill in gun form and W skill to poke and pressure enemy champions. During teamfights, Jinx’s rocket form can unleash massive AOE damage, especially after crits, making her unstoppable.

Yasuo — The Unforgiven
When talking about crit, we must not forget this hero who relies entirely on crits to deal damage — Yasuo. As a hero who can easily deal crits with every hit, Yasuo can inflict explosive damage effortlessly. In this version, Yasuo’s core items have all received enhancements, and once Yasuo builds Infinity Edge, his damage will be enough to eliminate the enemy’s carry. Recently in the LPL matches, Dade also used Yasuo, proving that this hero is not weak. However, Yasuo often E’s to deal damage to enemy champions, so it’s crucial to maintain vision to avoid being ganked, as Yasuo can be difficult to play when behind. Another point is that Yasuo should try to build at least one defensive item to significantly enhance his survival in teamfights; without defensive items, Yasuo is too squishy and can easily be focused down when diving into the enemy team.
Recommended Runes and Masteries:
Since Yasuo can easily stack crits, the Bloodthirster mastery ensures survival when low on health, with red runes consisting of 3 attack power and 6 attack speed, blue runes providing 9 flat magic resist, yellow runes offering 9 scaling health, and quintessences having 1 attack speed and 2 lifesteal.
Recommended Build:
Infinity Edge remains Yasuo’s core damage item.
These heroes are some of the main champions in version 6.12 that have benefited from enhanced items, with their primary attributes focusing on attack speed and crit.
