Recently, the microcontroller enthusiast conducted an experiment to plot the I-V characteristics of a conductor, aimed at learning how to use Bluetooth dual-channel data transmission.
In this experiment, the voltage data transmitted via Bluetooth channel 1 is assigned to the x-axis, while the voltage data from Bluetooth channel 2 is assigned to the y-axis, thereby plotting the I-V characteristics of the conductor.
Careful readers will notice that this circuit setup is identical to the previous one. Indeed, the microcontroller enthusiast modified the experimental and calculation methods based on the existing circuit setup, using the photoresistor as a variable resistor.
First, the prepared experimental program is uploaded to the ESP32 development board, and the modified Phyphox experimental program is loaded onto the smartphone. The experimental program is started on the smartphone, and a Bluetooth connection is established with the ESP32 development board. Phyphox automatically plots the I-V characteristics curve for a fixed resistance of 1000 ohms.
Expanding the experimental image to full screen and selecting linear fitting, we see that the slope of the fitted curve is 0.001A/V, which is correct because its reciprocal is the resistance of the conductor, 1000 ohms.
