In the spring of the year, action comes first. To promote knowledge sharing, enhance professional capabilities, stimulate innovative thinking, and build a learning-oriented enterprise, on the morning of February 18, Guofeng New Materials organized a training session on the basic technical knowledge of LCD displays. The training invited Ding Daojun, the deputy director of the Coating Materials Research Office of the New Materials Research Institute, to give a lecture. The training was hosted by Zhang Jia’an, the deputy secretary of the party committee, general manager, and dean of Guofeng Academy, with the leadership team and relevant personnel participating in the training.
“What is the structure of an LCD, and why do various display effects occur? What are the principles behind it?” With these questions, Ding Daojun started from the basic structure of LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays) and, through various demonstration videos, focused on explaining the film structure of the LCD backlight module, the basic knowledge of liquid crystal panels, touch screens, and more, answering questions for everyone. “Reflective films, polarizers…” By combining specific life usage scenarios, each obscure professional term became easy to understand. The more than one-hour course was highlighted and packed with valuable knowledge!
This training is the “first lesson” of the year and also the “first lecture” of the series “I Give a Lesson to Leaders”. The training collected topics from department heads and all professional technical personnel of the company, aiming to further improve the comprehensive management level of the leadership team, accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces of Guofeng, and promote high-quality development of the enterprise.
