Taking the Philips Sonos 5500 color Doppler ultrasound machine as an example, during the actual application of the color Doppler ultrasound machine, a malfunction occurred on the left touch screen, where the preset condition selection and probe switching often resulted in multiple attempts failing to select.
Consider that the touch screen may need recalibration due to prolonged lack of calibration, or there may be an issue with the chip on the PG board that stores the calibration data, leading to data loss.
The repair process for the malfunction is as follows:
Step 1: Recalibrate the left touch screen of the color Doppler ultrasound machine, but the touch screen still does not respond. The RST self-check result shows error code 0105, which indicates that the fault is either with the left touch screen or the PG board;
Step 2: Since this model of the color Doppler ultrasound machine contains two identical touch screens, the technician adjusted and swapped the left and right touch screens, but the left touch screen still did not respond, indicating that the touch screen itself is functioning normally;
Step 3: After replacing the PG board of the color Doppler ultrasound machine and reinstalling the software, the system remained on the “Preparing for Upgrade” operation interface and the software could not be installed normally. The voltage was too low, indicating that the fault may be due to a voltage distribution issue in the keyboard control section of the color Doppler ultrasound machine.
Therefore, it is important to measure the resistance value of the transformer circuit board, find the damaged resistor, replace it with a new resistor, and solder it. The test results showed that after processing, the software installation was successful and the left touch screen operation returned to normal.
