With the rapid development of automotive intelligence, the automotive touch display industry chain is actively laying out, upgrading the automobile cockpit from “smart cockpit” to “smart passenger cabin”, focusing more on the design around the interaction between “people” and the car. The automotive display shows trends such as large screens, multi-screens, and various forms, and touch is redefining the human-computer interaction experience in cars.
For automotive touch displays that are more interactive and entertaining, achieving touch functionality cannot be separated from the support of lamination.
Faced with high temperatures, low temperatures, vibrations, strong light, etc., the requirements for the process are higher, so the choice of lamination glue is also more stringent. The full lamination technology uses optical glue to completely bond the display panel and the touch screen together, which can cure under normal or medium temperature conditions and has characteristics such as small curing shrinkage and resistance to yellowing. Compared with traditional OCA adhesive tape, LOCA water glue has excellent filling performance, solving some limitations faced by OCA adhesive tape, and the product’s reliability fully meets the high requirements for automotive touch display lamination, making it particularly advantageous in automotive central control applications.
-
Good filling for frame structure modules, no bubble return phenomenon in harsh working environments -
High adhesive strength, good vibration resistance, ensuring good operation of the product during continuous driving, and reducing the risk of glass breakage during impacts -
High light transmittance of the glue, low haze, making the screen clear and bright -
Low dielectric constant of the glue, making the screen touch-sensitive -
Not affected by the size and shape of the product, strong versatility of the glue, and low inventory pressure
LOCA full lamination technology achieves better air tightness, ultra-thin appearance design, and excellent screen display effects compared to frame lamination technology.
1. The screen can isolate dust and moisture
The air layer of ordinary lamination methods is easily contaminated by dust and moisture in the environment, affecting machine use; while full lamination OCA glue fills the gaps, tightly bonding the display panel and the touch screen, preventing dust and moisture from entering and maintaining the cleanliness of the screen.
2. Better display effect
Full lamination technology eliminates the air between the screens, significantly reducing light reflection and loss of transmitted light, thereby enhancing brightness and improving the display effect of the screen.
3. Reduce noise interference
The close combination of the touch screen and the display panel not only increases strength but also effectively reduces noise interference on touch signals, enhancing the smoothness of touch operations.
4. Thinner body
Full lamination screens have a thinner body, with the touch screen and display screen bonded using optical glue, only increasing thickness by 25μm-50μm; thinner by 0.1mm-0.7mm compared to ordinary lamination methods.
5. Simplified assembly
Full lamination modules can be directly fixed to the whole machine using clips or screws, reducing assembly problems caused by lamination deviations, while simplifying the assembly process and lowering assembly costs. It also helps in narrow frame designs, allowing for a narrower frame.
2. Applications of Full Lamination Glue
DeYouwei New Materials is committed to providing customers with high-performance and high-value-added adhesive professional technical solutions. With a strong R&D team and rich experience, we use innovative optical glue technology to ensure automotive displays. It is solvent-free, acid-free, and can quickly cure under ultraviolet light to form a flexible transparent glue layer, meeting the stringent requirements of automotive display bonding.
