Successful Installation of the C-610 Tower for the Sinopec Quanzhou Gasoline Project

On April 19, the Mechanical Equipment Engineering Division, in collaboration with the Fujian Project Department, successfully completed the first installation of the C-610 tower for the new hydrogenation solvent refining unit at Sinopec Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. This marks a significant milestone in the project construction, receiving unanimous praise from the owner and the supervisory unit.

This tower is the first installation task for the solvent refining unit and is also the tallest and heaviest equipment in the unit, with a top height of 55.15 meters and a total lifting weight of 185 tons. The on-site construction environment is complex, with limited space, and during the assembly and welding process, the main body of the equipment must always remain suspended.

To ensure operational safety and welding quality, the division dispatched an excellent management team to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the installation site and equipment foundation. They collaborated with the project technical personnel to thoroughly discuss and study the lifting method, agreeing on a 650-ton crawler crane for the main lift and a 350-ton crawler crane for the tail lift. They continuously improved and optimized the lifting technical plan and meticulously planned the details of on-site coordination, transportation routes, and equipment assembly and disassembly. Prior to the operation, all personnel received safety technical briefings to ensure everyone clearly understood the lifting process.

Ultimately, the project department and the division worked together effectively to successfully complete the installation task of the C-610 tower, laying a solid foundation for subsequent lifting operations.
