Leader in the chip programming field, Anke Technology, recently announced the completion of a new round of upgrades to its programming software, along with a series of newly compatible chip models. In this update, the mixed-signal chip OB6617G launched by OnBright has successfully been included in the support range of the Anke programmer AP8000.
OB6617G is a highly integrated, high-performance, low-cost control chip for brushless DC motors (BLDC) and permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), requiring only a few peripheral components to build a complete BLDC/PMSM control circuit. The OB6617G integrates a high-performance MCU, a three-phase full-bridge driver, a high-precision 5V voltage regulator, a high-speed rail-to-rail operational amplifier, and a motor drive current protection comparator. The motor control circuit using OB6617G is flexible, compact, and cost-effective.
OB6617G supports the development of control programs, with six PWM channels and drive current sampling integrated internally, and provides 22 external GPIOs that can be reused for analog-to-digital sampling, PWM, three digital comparators, serial communication, and other interfaces; meeting the needs of most motor applications.
OB6617G provides complete chip protection and external motor drive current protection, including under-voltage protection for the chip’s operating power supply, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection for the high-side driver power supply, over-temperature protection, and cross-conduction protection for the bridge arm; the drive circuit has built-in dead time; motor drive over-current protection, short-circuit protection, etc.

Application Block Diagram
With a strong technical foundation, Anke Technology’s self-developed AP8000 universal programmer is regarded as a benchmark-level programming solution in the industry. This device supports flexible one-to-one and one-to-eight configurations, while providing both online and offline working modes. It has also developed dedicated programming solutions for eMMC and UFS storage chips, fully meeting the offline programming and on-board programming needs of OnBright’s entire series of chips. The AP8000 consists of three core modules: the host, the baseboard, and the adapter, which gives it excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, the AP8000 can adapt to various programmable chips on the market and, with its stable and efficient performance, has become the core component of Anke’s automated IPS5800S programming system, efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production needs.
The AP8000 host features flexible connectivity options and is equipped with USB and NET interfaces, allowing for easy networking of multiple programmers. Through the networking function, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers, efficiently conducting parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the host has a built-in intelligent safety protection circuit that can monitor the chip placement status and circuit connection in real-time. If it detects abnormal conditions such as chip reverse insertion or short circuits, it will immediately trigger a power-off protection mechanism, fully safeguarding the safe operation of the chip and programmer. The host is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency, ensuring a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance user convenience, the back of the host is equipped with an SD card slot. Users only need to store the project files generated with the PC on the SD card and insert it into the slot to complete file selection and loading for programming operations through the physical buttons of the programmer, achieving independent operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependence on computer hardware configurations but also simplifies the setup process of the working environment, significantly enhancing operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular design of baseboard and adapter board, effectively expanding the functional boundaries of the host. Currently, this device has achieved support for products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SILERGY, BYD, NUVOTON, FocalTech, and Dosilicon. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, all-scenario chip programming solution.
