Understanding the NB Meter
The NB meter is equipped with a smart controller installed on a traditional mechanical meter, which contains an NB-IoT chip and SIM card. It communicates with the system via the NB-IoT network, allowing residents to handle payment and other services through their mobile phones.

Follow the Official Account
The NB meter is a smart gas meter, and the biggest difference from ordinary gas meters is that the NB meter does not require a gas card for purchasing gas. Battery Installation
To install the meter battery, open the battery compartment cover located below the LCD screen from the side, and insert four AA batteries, ensuring the positive and negative terminals are not reversed. Once the battery is correctly installed, the LCD screen will display information, and pressing the “Query” button will activate the gas meter. The meter battery should be replaced every six months, and using old and new batteries together is not recommended. If the gas meter is not used for an extended period, please remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage to the meter.PAPT 03
Information Synchronization
After purchasing gas, please press and hold the “Query” button for about 3 seconds. When the LCD screen shows “send”, release the button, indicating that it is connecting to the server to synchronize the amount. The synchronization will be complete when the screen shows “succ”. Additionally, the meter will automatically synchronize the amount every day at midnight. If the meter has sufficient balance, you can also wait until the next day to check if the recharge amount has been credited.PAPT 04
Information Query
To check the remaining balance, press the “Query” button when the LCD screen is off, and the remaining amount will be displayed on the screen. The top left corner of the screen will show the Chinese character for “remaining”, and the number displayed by the mechanical gear above the LCD screen represents the cumulative usage. The black numbers represent the integer part, while the red numbers represent the decimal part. Please note that the NB meter charges based on the amount, and the unit displayed on the LCD screen is “Yuan”.PAPT 05
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with the meter not igniting, please press the “Query” button and observe the error message displayed on the LCD screen. If it shows “Change Battery, Please Purchase Gas, Close Valve”, simply follow the prompts to change the battery or purchase gas. If it shows “Abnormal” and the issue cannot be resolved, please call the Liyang Anshun Gas 24-hour service hotline at 962007 and inform the staff of the error message you see. We will address it promptly.
