Linyi Semiconductor Device FactoryThe Linyi Semiconductor Device Factory (originally named “Linyi Radio Component Research Institute”) was established in June 1966 and is a state-owned enterprise. By the end of 1989, the factory director was Li Donghan and the party secretary was Li Yueguo. The factory was successively under the jurisdiction of the Linyi Heavy Industry Bureau, the Linyi National Defense Industry Office, the Linyi Electronic Industry Bureau, and the Electronic Industry Company. The factory is located on Xinhua Second Road in Linyi City.The total area of the factory is 14,400 square meters, with a building area of 14,010 square meters, including a workshop area of 8,639 square meters. The net value of fixed assets exceeds 3 million yuan. By the end of 1989, there were 260 employees. The factory has a total of 11 departments, 5 workshops, and 1 research institute. The main production focus was on transistors. At that time, the factory mainly produced plastic-sealed and glass-sealed damping and boosting diodes; various power diodes for color televisions; and low-power high B and ultra B devices. Among them, the differential pair tube won the third prize for technological progress in Shandong Province in 1988, and the single tube won the first prize for technological progress in the Linyi region in 1983.The factory’s products are of high quality and low price, selling well in 28 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions, and exported to places like Hong Kong and North Korea, receiving unanimous praise from users.Yinan Transistor FactoryThis factory was established in 1970 as a state-owned enterprise, and by the end of 1989, the factory director was Lu Ansen. The factory is located in Yinan County, covering an area of 21,665 square meters; among which the production building area is 3,323 square meters, with organizational management institutions such as political work, production, technology, sales, quality inspection, supply, and finance, as well as 8 workshops. There are 250 employees. The main products include the 34X series germanium transistor, HLF series spiral filters for color TVs, medium and high voltage ceramic capacitors, and musical doorbells. The products are sold nationwide in several provinces, cities, and autonomous regions, widely used in household appliances such as radios, tape recorders, and televisions, as well as various electronic instruments and meters.
Among the transistor products, the 3AX31 and 3AX81 were named “Reliable Products” by the Provincial Electric Power Bureau in 1979; the 3AX31 product ranked fifth in the national quality evaluation of similar products in 1980; and the 3AX83 product was named “High-Quality Product” by the Provincial Economic Commission in 1981. In 1979, the factory was awarded the title of “Designated Enterprise for Color TV Components” by the Ministry of Electronics Industry.In December 1987, at the third national color TV localization work conference, the factory was awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in Color TV Localization” by the Ministry of Electronics Industry. In 1988, the HLF series spiral filter was again rated as a “Quality Product” by the Ministry of Mechanical and Electronic Industry. In 1988, the total industrial output value reached 5 million yuan, achieving sales revenue of 4 million yuan, with profits and taxes of 1.4 million yuan, and per capita labor productivity reaching 22,000 yuan/person.Famous ProductsHLF-37, HLF-38, HLF-38.9 Spiral FiltersThe HLF-38, HLF-37, and HLF-38.9 spiral filters were jointly developed by the Yinan Transistor Factory and the Qingdao Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for use in the intermediate frequency circuits of color televisions.The HLF series spiral filters adopt a spiral resonant cavity structure, with reasonable design and advanced technology, featuring low insertion loss, smooth frequency response curves, and stable performance. After routine tests by the Shandong Provincial Electronic Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute and recognition tests by complete machine manufacturers, it was widely used, and it was unanimously recognized that the performance indicators of this product meet the requirements of complete machines and reach or exceed the technical level of similar products in Japan in the 1980s, capable of replacing imported products and filling domestic gaps. At that time, various “Panasonic” model color TV manufacturers had stopped importing this component and used the spiral filters produced by this factory. Major supporting manufacturers included: Qingdao Television Factory, Nanjing Television Factory, Sichuan Changhong Machinery Factory, Guangzhou Broadcasting Equipment Factory, Henan Original Machinery Factory, and Liaoning Radio Factory No. 8. In the 1988 national color television evaluation, all color TVs produced by these manufacturers won first prizes.
