MediaTek Dimensity 1000C Processor Still Not Using 5nm Process

According to foreign media reports, MediaTek, which has launched several 5G smartphone processors such as the Dimensity 1000 and Dimensity 800, continues to release new 5G smartphone processors to enrich their product line and provide consumers with a better 5G experience.

Information from MediaTek’s official website indicates that they have launched a new 5G smartphone processor, the Dimensity 1000C. This 5G processor offers a flagship-level 5G experience, improved AI performance, excellent display capabilities, and ultra-fast network connection speeds.

The newly launched Dimensity 1000C 5G smartphone processor features 4 Arm Cortex-A77 cores and 4 Arm Cortex-A55 efficient cores with a maximum frequency of 2GHz, along with 5 Arm Mali-G57 GPUs.

In terms of manufacturing process, MediaTek’s official website states that it is based on a 7nm process, not the currently advanced 5nm process.

The Dimensity 1000C is the sixth 5G smartphone processor launched by MediaTek, with the other five being the Dimensity 1000, Dimensity 820, Dimensity 800, Dimensity 800U, and Dimensity 720, all of which also utilize the 7nm process.
