Course Introduction
The emergence of large models like DeepSeek has triggered explosive growth in AI applications, with a continuous rise in edge inference demand. The NPU (Neural Processing Unit), with its excellent AI acceleration capabilities and high energy efficiency, has become a key solution to meet terminal inference needs. Arm Technology’s self-developed ‘Zhou Yi’ NPU has undergone specialized optimizations and upgrades in architecture and memory for large model scenarios, achieving an acceleration performance of 30 TOPS in the ‘Xingrui O6’ development kit, significantly enhancing AI development efficiency in diverse scenarios such as AI PCs, edge computing, and robotics, helping developers easily tackle the challenges of complex model deployment.
In the previous session, computer technology expert Zhang Yuntian provided a comprehensive introduction to the hardware and operating system of the ‘Xingrui O6’ AI PC development kit. In this session of the Extreme Technology Open Class, Arm Technology’s technical experts will delve into the software development kit for the ‘Zhou Yi’ NPU – Compass SDK, demonstrating practical deployment of AI applications on the ‘Xingrui O6’ platform using its NN Compiler toolchain, covering algorithm adaptation optimization and sharing typical development experiences. Additionally, experts will systematically introduce the comprehensive software support capabilities of Compass SDK, assisting developers in quickly mastering toolchain usage skills.
